This is one of the places that Geronimo hid when he had about 1/4 of the US army after him, and he only had 30 warriors and 100 women and children and was able to evade them at will!

Fresh dusting of Spring snow on weathered juniper, Capital Reef N.P. Utah. Dispite the snow flurries, ol Sol was still trying to shine on! :) Taken on a road trip with my Primos, Alan, and Paul. I have more from this trip I'll be posting later.

Mt. Hood and Trillium lake, black and white.

I usually don't photograph really well known things (Galen Rowell called it, mature subject matter) unless I think I can capture it in a unique way. I live close enough to Mt. Hood, however, it's sad to say I don't have many photos of this much loved mountain. I hope I captured her well here. One of my all time favorites.

It took me over an hour to get this shot. This little guy did not want to pose! It aways used the flower to "hide" from me. No mater where I went, he went the opposite direction. That's really kills the back to bend down lower with an F5, strobe and macro lens for an hour!

Taken near, Forest Grove, Oregon (I know some of you girls are goanna squeal! ;)).

This is the "opposite" side of my favorite oak tree grove near Forest Grove, Oregon. Had to wade across a creak to use the 400mm lens on this one.
